For Norris Behaviour Consulting (“NBC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the services, consultations, and materials provided by Norris Behaviour Consulting, whether delivered in person, virtually, or via our website and online platforms.
By engaging in services with Norris Behaviour Consulting, you (“the client”) agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Services
NBC provides individualized support services including but not limited to:

Behaviour consultations and assessments

Advocacy in school and community settings
-
In-home needs assessments
-
Resource referrals
-
Parent/caregiver education
-
School meeting attendance and support
-
Assistance with funding applications
Service offerings may vary based on client needs, availability, and consultant recommendations.
2. Booking and Payment

Services must be booked in advance and confirmed by NBC.

Completed Intake form- found in the "File Share" section on our website- MUST be included upon first intake booking. NBC reserved the right to reschedule appointment if Client Intake form is not attached upon booking.

Payment deposit is due prior to and/or at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Accepted payment methods will be outlined in the invoice or booking confirmation.

In-person sessions may be subject to additional travel and mileage fees based on location.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Clients must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Cancellations with at least 48 hours’ notice may have deposits applied to a future session.

Cancellations made within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

4. Confidentiality

All client information is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without written consent, unless required by law (e.g., in cases involving suspected abuse, harm, or court orders).
5. Limitation of Liability

While NBC provides guidance based on experience and best practices, we do not guarantee specific results or outcomes.

Clients understand that behavioural and developmental strategies require consistency, collaboration, and time. NBC is not liable for decisions made or outcomes resulting from the use of our recommendations.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Provide accurate and up-to-date information during intake and sessions.

Participate actively and collaboratively in the service process.

Maintain respectful and appropriate behavior during all interactions.

Notify NBC of any changes in schedule or support needs.
7. Accessibility

We strive to make our services inclusive and accessible to all clients. If you require accommodations or alternate formats for communication or materials, please contact us directly.
8. Intellectual Property

All educational materials, resources, and content provided by NBC are the property of Norris Behaviour Consulting and are intended for personal use only.

Reproduction, distribution, or use for commercial purposes is prohibited without prior written consent.
9. Termination of Services
NBC reserves the right to discontinue services at any time if:

The client violates any terms outlined herein

The working relationship becomes ineffective or unsafe

The client engages in harassment, abuse, or inappropriate conduct
Any outstanding balances must be settled upon termination.
10. Modifications to Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time.

Clients will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website.
11. Fee Adjustments and Revisions

Service fees, deposits, travel/mileage costs, and other applicable charges are subject to change at any time at the discretion of Norris Behaviour Consulting.

Any changes will be communicated through official channels, including updates to our website and/or a formal amendment to the service agreement.

Clients will be notified of such changes prior to their next scheduled service or renewal.
